Ubiquiti's AirView is a revolutionary new product which consists of a tiny USB module, that when paired with a common laptop or PC and software, transforms into a powerful Spectrum Analyzer at a market breakthrough price point. The AirView9EXT analyzer has an MMCX connector for use with an external antenna. It comes with an omnidirectional antenna with a short length of cable and MMCX connector and mounting hardware. For many professional installers, analyzing the 900MHz spectrum to determine the optimum setup for new wireless equipment is imperative. Typically, this is done with a tool called a "Spectrum Analyzer", costing from several hundreds to tens of thousands of dollars, which is capable of displaying the distribution of RF energy in the 900MHz band.
The AirView Spectrum Analyzer is useful in studying all RF energy contributors in the 900MHz band. AirView is available in four different models: AirView2 (2.4GHz), AirView2-EXT (2.4GHz, external antenna), AirView9 (900MHz). Many situations require the use of multiple AirMax M series devices on the same tower. The new Rocket M GPS products are designed to eliminate co-location interference by using synchronized transmission times. With AirSync, the basestations make use of a common clock source using the built-in GPS receiver. One device is configured as the synchronization master and the others are configured in Slave Mode. Once this is done, the Master and Slave devices synchronize their transmit and receive cycles so that they transmit at the same time and receive at the same time.
The Rocket M GPS products are rugged, hi-power, linear 2x2 MIMO radios with enhanced receiver performance. They feature incredible range performance (50+km) and breakthrough speed (150+Mbps real TCPI/IP). They are specifically designed for outdoor PtP bridging and PTMP AirMax basestation applications.
